System Administrator Appreciation Day Offer Terms and Conditions

1. Offer summary

To mark System Administrator Appreciation Day 2026, Macrium is offering eligible verified IT professionals one free one-year Macrium Reflect X home license for personal use.

The offer opens on 29 July 2026 and ends at 11:59pm on Sunday 2 August 2026, unless closed earlier in line with these terms.

The offer is available to the first 10,000 eligible applicants, subject to verification, approval, and availability.

2. Eligibility

This offer is open to individuals who are verified IT professionals.

Eligible roles may include, but are not limited to:

  • System administrators
  • IT managers
  • Infrastructure engineers
  • Endpoint administrators
  • Desktop support professionals
  • Backup and recovery specialists
  • OT/ICS practitioners
  • Technical operators
  • Consultants
  • MSP professionals

Macrium may request reasonable evidence of eligibility, such as a work email address, job title, company name, LinkedIn profile, or other professional signal.

Macrium reserves the right to approve or decline any application at its sole discretion.

3. Personal use only

The free license is for personal home use only.

It may not be used for business, commercial, organizational, client, MSP, resale, or production use.

If you require Macrium for business or organizational use, you should contact Macrium about the appropriate business license.

4. One license per person

The offer is limited to one free one-year Macrium Reflect X home license per eligible person.

Multiple applications from the same person, duplicate accounts, disposable email addresses, or suspected attempts to abuse the offer may be declined.

5. Verification and approval

Submitting the form does not guarantee approval.

Macrium will review applications and, where approved, provide license details by email.

Macrium may reject applications that are incomplete, inaccurate, suspicious, ineligible, submitted using false information, or not aligned with the purpose of the offer.

6. Offer period and availability

The offer opens on 29 July 2026 and ends at 11:59pm on Sunday 2 August 2026.

The offer is valid for the first 10,000 eligible applicants only.

Macrium may close, extend, amend, pause, or withdraw the offer at any time, including where the offer limit has been reached, demand exceeds expectations, abuse is suspected, or operational changes are required.

7. Auto-renewal

Auto-renewal is enabled for the free one-year Macrium Reflect X home license.

You may turn off auto-renewal at any time before the renewal date. There is no obligation to pay for a second-year license.

If auto-renewal remains enabled at the end of the free one-year license period, the license may renew in line with the renewal terms presented at the time of activation or purchase.

8. No cash alternative

There is no cash alternative for this offer.

The free license is non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be exchanged, sold, transferred, or resold.

9. License term

Approved applicants will receive a one-year Macrium Reflect X home license.

At the end of the one-year term, continued use may require renewal or purchase of a valid license.

10. Availability by region

The offer may not be available in all countries or regions.

Macrium reserves the right to decline applications where the offer cannot be provided due to legal, regulatory, operational, export control, sanctions, or other restrictions.

11. Fair use and misuse

Macrium may cancel, revoke, or disable a license if it believes the license has been obtained fraudulently, misused, transferred, resold, used for business purposes, or used in breach of these terms or Macrium’s standard license terms.

12. Relationship to Macrium license terms

Use of Macrium Reflect X is also subject to Macrium’s applicable end user license agreement, privacy policy, and any other standard product terms.

If there is any conflict between these offer terms and Macrium’s standard license terms, Macrium’s standard license terms will apply to product usage.

13. Communications and third-party partners

By submitting the form, you agree that Macrium may contact you about your application, eligibility, license fulfillment, and related product or service information.

Your information may also be passed to relevant third-party partners, who may contact you in relation to Macrium’s products and services.

Any use of your information will be handled in line with Macrium’s privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.

14. Changes to the offer

Macrium reserves the right to amend these terms or withdraw the offer at any time without prior notice.
